Frequently Asked Questions
How do I cancel my subscription?+
For iOS subscriptions, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID at the top, then Subscriptions → NumYum → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. For web subscriptions (Stripe), email support@numyum.ai and we will send you a link to your billing portal to cancel.
How do I get a refund?+
For iOS purchases, refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the NumYum charge, and request a refund. For web (Stripe) purchases, email support@numyum.ai with the email on your account and the approximate purchase date, and we will process the refund.
How do I reset my taste profile or recalibrate?+
Sign in to NumYum and open Settings — the Recalibrate taste profile section walks you through the same short rating flow you saw at sign-up. Your existing meal plans and liked recipes are not affected.
How do I change my dietary preferences (vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies)?+
Self-serve controls for dietary preferences are not in the app yet. Email support@numyum.ai with what you would like to update and the email on your account, and we will adjust your profile within 1–2 business days. New meal plans generated after that will reflect the change.
How do I delete my account and all my data?+
Email support@numyum.ai from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will permanently remove your profile, meal plans, ratings, and pantry data within 7 business days and confirm by reply.
My meal plan is not generating or shows an error. What can I do?+
Try these in order: (1) refresh the page or pull to refresh on mobile, (2) sign out and back in, (3) check that your dietary preferences are not so restrictive that no recipes match. If it still does not work, email support@numyum.ai with the date you tried, the email on your account, and a screenshot if you can grab one.
How do I restore my iOS purchases on a new device?+
Install NumYum on the new device and sign in with the same email. iOS subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID, so they restore automatically. If your Pro features do not appear within a few minutes, sign out and back in. If they still do not appear, email support@numyum.ai and we will sort it out.
How do I contact support directly?+
Email support@numyum.ai. Please include the email on your account and a short description of what you were doing. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days (Monday through Friday).
